POLICY & DENTAL INSURANCE
FROM INSURANCE COMPANIES
Insurance policies can be difficult to understand. Our administrative staff has many years of experience working with numerous insurance plans and policies. They are eager to help you in any way, and to address any questions that you might have.
Although you are required to pay in full on the day of treatment, our team will ensure that you receive prompt reimbursement from your insurance company. Insurance claims can be filed by our office with your authorization, or you may choose to file on your own. Our office is a registered member of CDAnet - which means we can submit your dental claim to your insurance carrier electronically.
Your claim is received instantly, processed quickly, and depending on your plan, you may receive your reimbursement cheque in less than one week!
& FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
We will provide you with a written estimate for all complex treatments, such as orthodontics, root canals, or dental implants. We will gladly provide you with an estimate for any routine procedures, upon request.
Patients with dental benefits can also submit pre-determination forms to their insurance companies, to verify the amount of coverage for major procedures. We understand that major procedures can be costly or unexpected. Our office is more than willing to arrange specific financial payment plans with you and your family.
Our goal is to help you receive the highest quality of care, and to do our best to accommodate your individual needs. Please talk to our front office staff today!
WHEN SERVICES ARE RENDERED
All patients are expected to render full payment for the treatments they receive on the day of their visit (regardless of their insurance policies). Please do not hesitate to ask our office about the cost of any procedure or dental appliance. We will make every attempt to ensure that you understand our fees and the value of the treatment you receive. For your convenience, we accept cash, Interac, VISA, MasterCard, personal cheques, or money orders.
We respect your time and promise to make every effort to stay on schedule. Likewise, please make your best efforts to arrive on time for your appointment. Appointment time is reserved exclusively for you and your dental treatment. If you must reschedule an appointment, please contact us during office hours at least 48 hours (2 business days excluding Sundays) in advance.
We will attempt to confirm the appointment with you two business days prior to your scheduled visit, but please remember: it is still your responsibility to keep the appointments you have made. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation on this matter.
It is necessary that a 48-hour cancellation notice be given if you foresee that you cannot keep your scheduled appointment. Charges for the lost time may be assigned if insufficient notice is given.
