- All fees charged follow the Ontario Dental Association Suggested Fee Guide for the current year.
- Payment is required each time service is rendered. If you are a returning patient, we may accept assignment of benefits (direct reimbursements from insurance companies) for the portion of your treatment that is covered under that dental plan. In which case, you will be required to pay only the difference which your policy does not cover.
- If you have dental coverage and would like a predetermination of coverage, we are happy to submit a predetermination (an estimate) to your insurance company based on your treatment plan.
- Please note that according to the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, a dentist cannot submit a dental insurance claim for a customary (higher) fee and then write off the copayment or deductible as a means of providing a discount. Waiving a co-payment is a form of insurance fraud and is against the law.
- Aside from private insurance plans, our office also welcomes patients with benefits from the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP), Ontario Works, Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO), and Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Please feel free to contact our office to inquire about your benefit plan and treatment options.
- If dental problems are left untreated, small problems could become more expensive to treat and more harmful to your health. Should you have any financial concerns regarding the cost of your dental visit, our office staff will be happy to discuss financing options with you. The timeliness of your treatment is our priority.
