Teeth Whitening

Most stains and discolorations are caused by coffee, tea, or tobacco. Although teeth are not naturally completely white, there are several ways for patients to "brighten up their smiles." We recommend that you visit our office to determine which application and program is best for you.

At-home whitening is a procedure that involves our office, but is largely carried out by the patient at home. Our office will make an impression of your teeth and create a custom-fitted bleaching tray. You’ll place a prescribed amount of whitening solution in the tray, and insert it into your mouth. The bleaching solutions vary in potency and may be worn for an hour or throughout the night. Based on your specific needs, our dental team will advise you on the appropriate type of application and the length of time required for whitening your teeth. Power whitening is a procedure performed entirely in the office. It involves carefully applying a whitening gel and using a high-intensity light or laser to speed up the bleaching process. Oxygen in the gel penetrates the enamel and removes underlying stains and discoloration. Please visit our office for more information.
